My Process

Gather Data

Your first step is to gather and bring the following paperwork to our meeting: all completed assessments, documentation diagnosing your child with a medical condition such as ADHD, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Depression, etc.. Include school records from the past three years (grades, standardized test scores, teacher comments, and the new client form which will be sent to you after the initial phone consultation. A complete list of those individuals working with, treating, or has important insight into your child. This list should include their name, phone number(s), and email address. Please feel free to bring any other information that you feel may be pertinent to your child’s educational, mental, or emotional well-being.

Meet & Plan 

We will discuss your child's current situation, identify needs, and explore possible strategies to obtain appropriate placement and services. At this time you will sign a release(s) for all professionals and individuals I'll need to work with your child and sign an agreement for services along with a deposit for future services.

Working for Success

After our initial meeting I will review of school records, meet with your child or teenager, observe their school setting, Consult with the student’s teachers, school personnel, and other professionals to accomplish your goals. 

 

​Ongoing Support & Transition Services

I can provide ongoing communication with school personnel and all therapists to monitor the child’s progress.

Pricing

 

Schedule a no cost fifteen minute phone consult to determine if my services can benefit you. I charge hourly for consultations, meetings and testing but have package plans for college and transition services. 

 

​Confidentiality​​

Innovative Educational Planning subscribes to practicing ethical, honest, and respectful behavior in all actions with clients and their families. All of the information that is collected from clients as well as all the communications that Innovative Educational Planning has with clients, is held in strict confidentiality. Innovative Educational Planning will not disclose any information to a third party unless a client specifically requests that they do so, in writing.
